I am so excited for this weekend, I can hardly contain myself! Seriously, this has been one of the longest Fridays in recent history; it's dragging just to torture me.

General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!
I {HEART} General Conference!
Hubster and I at attending Conference in SLC last October.
General Conference is a world-wide meeting, held bi-annually, by the LDS Church with the purpose of instructing, uplifting, and edifying its members {and everyone else}.
For two days {Saturday & Sunday} I get to cuddle in my pajamas with my family and friends and listen to the words of true, living prophets.

“What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same” (D&C 1:38)

Conference is such a powerful gift, given by a loving Heavenly Father, that allows us to reflect on His teachings and the life of our Savior Jesus Christ. Conference also provides us with principles, teachings, and suggestions for our dispensation. I often find answers to question or simple inspiration for improving my life while listening to Conference.
Since I was a teenager, I have kept special journals specifically for writing down inspiration or thoughts I receive during Conference, and love to reflect on what I learn. Here is a small sampling of my most favorite quotes:

The very BEST thing about General Conference is that it is for EVERYONE. Whether you are Mormon or not, I want to personally invite you to watch or listen to Conference. I promise that if you do, you will be inspired to be a better person and receive counsel on how to create a happier more hopeful life. {Especially a happier life at home; because we Mormons L-O-V-E families}
So, here are the de-tails about when and where to watch conference.
Sessisons {sub-meetings} of Conference are held:
Saturday March 31st 10:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. & 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. MST
Sunday April 1st 10:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. & 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. MST
{Yes, it is still entirely appropriate to use April fools jokes on Conference Sunday}
To participate in conference:
Locate your nearest meeting house here.
Find what cable/radio/satellite channel airs Conference in your area here.
Or watch conference online here.
Or. . if you're in the upper 435 of Utah, leave a message or comment and come watch it at my house! We have TONS of treats and quite likely some coloring books!
There are so many options for participating and no reason to miss out feeling the peace, hope and inspiration or General Conference!
